SPN awarded Best Renewable Energy Deal of 2015 by the Asset
The Asset, under Asia Infrastructure Awards, honored Sermsang Solar project of Sermsang Palang Ngan Co., Ltd (SPN) with the Best energy/Renewable energy deal of 2015. The crucial value infrastructure plays in driving growth in Asia inspires Asia Infrastructure Awards. The award aims to recognize private corporations’ relentless effort to push for economic growth via infrastructure investment.
Sermsang Solar project of 40-MW solar farm under SPN was a response to Power Development Plan 2010 of Thailand to achieve total renewable energy capacity of 14 GW and solar power capacity of 3,800 MW by 2030. The project was recognized for the high international standard in creating conditions for extensive competitive EPC bidding and in deliberating on selection process of appropriate equipment for such deal size.
